Chad Gorman, MD
Chad Gorman, M.D., specializes in treating chronic pain, especially in the lower back, large joints and extremities. Five-star rated by Healthgrades, he uses a variety of modalities to treat complex orthopedic pain, including regenerative medicine.
”Stem cell injections are a new and exciting type of treatment option for many acute and chronic conditions,” says Dr. Gorman. “The use of stem cells has proven to be an effective treatment for many orthopedic and conditions that cause pain and disability.”
Physician Partners of America utilizes allograft amniotic stem cells. These are injected as a sterile allograft comprised of 100 percent pure amniotic fluid, which contains a robust number of stem cell signaling proteins, cytokines, and growth factors – all of which are essential in active healing.
Dr. Gorman’s orthopedic background led him into the field of regenerative medicine. A Florida native, he earned his undergraduate degree in Health Science Education at the University of Florida. He completed medical school at the American University of the Caribbean in the Netherland Antilles, focusing on Orthopedics and Pain Medicine. His clinical rotations took him to New York City and London, which gave him a broad medical perspective.
He completed his residency, internship and fellowship training at the University of Oklahoma, with a focus on outpatient sports medicine/orthopedics and interventional pain management.
“Stem cell injections can be performed in the spine, joints, bursa and more,” says Dr. Gorman. “Not only can they promote healing and decrease inflammation and pain, but they can also stimulate new cartilage growth in an otherwise arthritic joint. New cartilage can increase the production of joint fluid which can decrease overall pain and disability.”
